Landlab benefit report 2025
In an era where the agricultural sector faces unprecedented climate and economic pressures, Landlab has officially published its 2025 Benefit Report.
The document highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to balancing scientific breakthroughs with positive social and environmental impacts.Despite a broader market downturn in applied research services, the company successfully navigated 2025 by reinvesting its profits into internal development. This strategy has enabled significant expansions in proprietary R&D, corporate wellness, and environmental stewardship.
Key Innovations in Sustainable Agriculture Research
At the core of the 2025 Benefit Report is Landlab’s focus on moving away from traditional synthetic chemistry toward biological solutions. Consequently, the company scaled up several proprietary research initiatives:
The PLANTAE & LANDLIFE Projects: These initiatives center on treating soil health as the fundamental pillar of modern farming. By analyzing and understanding the soil microbiome, Landlab provides farmers with actionable tools to counter environmental stressors autonomously.
The ZENON Project: Conducted in collaboration with Northern European and Italian partners, this project concluded four years of trials demonstrating that organic and microbiological tools can significantly preserve soil fertility while maintaining high yields.
Plants for Plants (P4P): Landlab systematized its plant-based extraction processes to develop eco-friendly prototypes, opening a new dialogue with commercial chemical distributors looking to diversify into organic portfolios.
Environmental Milestones and Carbon Reduction
In addition to agricultural field trials, the report tracks the center’s direct environmental footprint. Through its custom-installed photovoltaic roof system, Landlab generated 33,393 kWh of clean energy in 2025, effectively reducing CO2 emissions by over 33,000 kg.
Furthermore, the introduction of the Industry 4.0 “Aqua System” optimized water use efficiency across 29 large-scale trials. By tracking volume and frequency with high precision, the system minimized waste and successfully detected infrastructural leaks. Crop protection practices also saw a 22% reduction in chemical insecticide usage compared to 2024, achieved by utilizing biological control agents like beneficial predators and “banker plants”.
Social Impact: Gender Equality and Community Welfare
Beyond scientific data, the 2025 Benefit Report emphasizes the "People First" corporate philosophy. In February 2025, Landlab achieved national Gender Equality Certification. This milestone was further recognized externally when the company received the prestigious "Women Value Company" award from Fondazione Bellisario and Intesa Sanpaolo.Simultaneously, the team invested over 1,000 hours in professional and technical training.
Culturally, Landlab reinforced its ties to the local community by donating fresh produce harvested from horticultural trials to regional charities and vulnerable groups through partnerships with local associations.
