P4P products are arriving in the market

In 2022, there will be the launch in the market of the first 3 products of the P4P family, developed in the frame of the EU LIFE program:

4-Vita

4-Good

4-Terra.

Plants for Plants® 4-Vita is a Biostimulant targeting Water Use Efficiency (WUE) ensuring higher yield and crop quality. 4-Vita has been developed for all crops in comfort and stress conditions.

During our research, we have observed after application of 4-Vita a reduction of enzymatic activity involved in the antioxidant protecting system, leading to a reduction of oxidative stress when applied before periods of strong growth or heat.

Plants for Plants® 4-Good and Plants for Plants® 4-Terra are Biostimulants targeting Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE) ensuring higher yield and crop quality. They have been developed for all crops in comfort and stress conditions. Applied at the early stage of the crop cycle, 4-Good (as foliar application) and 4-Terra (as soil application or through fertigation) will improve the crop establishment ensuring a better nutrient uptake throughout the crop cycle.

During our research, we have observed after application of 4-Good, a reduction of enzymatic activity involved in the antioxidant protecting system, leading to a reduction of oxidative stress. The application of 4‑Good improves Phosphate assimilation due to activation of chloroplastic orthophosphate gene PHT2;1 a Phosphate transporter.

After application of 4-Terra there was also an improvement of Phosphate assimilation due to activation of chloroplastic orthophosphate gene PHT2;1 a Phosphate transporter but we have also noticed an increase in microbial activity in the soil as well as nutrient availability.

These firsts products will be marketed by Van Iperen, a partner member of the European project.
