This glycine betaine-based product, produced by BetaPuraGmbH and commercialized by AGRANA, has been the main actor of the long collaboration between AGRANA and LANDLAB srl società Benefit – Change Sowing to Sow Change, started nearly 10 years ago. 🤝

The research process allowed to notify 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐒𝐨𝐥® as a PlantBiostimulant to fight drought stress in arable and vegetable crops. Indeed, the product is indicated to help plants to cope with drought stress conditions, and it should be used before the stress. 🥀

Open field and controlled condition trials were organized and carried out following the European guidelines and technical specifications to confirm the efficacy of 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐒𝐨𝐥®. ✔

Landlab was engaged in the preparation of the whole dossier, which did not only include the results of trials, but also the identification of the product claim, the Component Material Category and the Product Function Category.
Moreover, Landlab was at the forefront in interacting with the notification body to apply for the European notification and obtain the CE mark. ✍📄
